Mijn verhaal<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Ik ben geboren in Leiden in 1959 en ben van jongs af aan gefascineerd door fotografie.<\/p>

Het is ongeveer tien jaar geleden dat ik langs de singels van Leiden liep en in het water keek. Ik zag opeens schoonheid van de bladeren die in het water dreven. Bij mijn volgende bezoek aan de waterkant nam ik mijn camera mee en begon ik foto's te maken.<\/p>

Thuisgekomen was ik erg verbaasd wat ik op het computerscherm zag: bladeren die brandden in het water, die huilden, die in de ruimte leken te zweven, met heldere sterren op de achtergrond.<\/p>

Vanaf dat moment ben ik blijven fotograferen en heb ik de passie ontwikkeld die ik nog steeds heb.<\/p>

Na verloop van tijd merkte ik dat bladeren in het water niet alleen aanwezig zijn in de herfst, maar het hele jaar door, je moet alleen iets beter kijken.<\/p>

Tijdens het fotograferen word ik uitgedaagd door de vluchtigheid van het moment, met bladeren die zo snel voorbij drijven. Reflectie van het wateroppervlak, onverwachte golfjes, het gebrek aan helderheid van sommige beelden; ze hielpen me telkens weer om mijn vaardigheid verder te ontwikkelen.<\/p>

Nu, wanneer ik maar kan, ga ik naar de waterkant om die prachtige bladeren te zien, uit hun boom gevallen, kwetsbaar, verder drijvend.<\/p>

Ik neem die beelden mee naar huis om de esthetiek van hun vergankelijkheid te bewaren en ze te delen met vrienden en iedereen die maar interesse zou kunnen hebben.<\/p>
